A biocompatibility test is a blood serum compatibility test and is a sophisticated way to determine if a dental material is reactive to the immune system of an individual.

Although this test has applications for everyone having dental procedures, many patients who have health issues, chronic pain, or concerns about their body reacting to any dental material placed in their mouths can benefit from a biocompatibility test.

It takes about two weeks for full tests, but in certain circumstances the results can be faxed within 5 business days.
